Pastor Mark Lockett came to know Jesus Christ personally in November 2002. Although he was introduced to God's Word as a child, he turned from Jesus and pursued a secular life. At age 27 he was saved by God's grace and chose to follow Jesus wholeheartedly.
Two years later he enrolled at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, and graduated in 2009 with a B.A. in Pastoral Studies. Mark began serving at South Loop Community Church in Chicago and completed a pastoral internship at the church while he was a student at Moody. In September of 2012 he was called to serve as the Preaching Elder of SLCC until being called to Valley Alliance.
Along with preaching, Pastor Mark commits himself to mentoring and developing future spiritual leaders of the church. His passion is equipping believers to be effective witnesses of Jesus Christ in their communities.
Pastor Mark and his wife Leah have two children, Eliam and Elysia.
